Jessica Peatman utilizes photo and copper intaglio techniques to advance and transform her original drawings and illustrations. Printmaking provides a unique and unpredictable quality to her work as it combines both aging traditions and new digital processes. Employing fantasy and narrative, her work asks questions about identity, belonging and childhood.
J. Peatman is a recent BFA graduate from the University of the Fraser Valley in BC. Her art practice largely consists of two-dimensional media often accompanied with digital and printmaking methods.
